Our motto: 1 : 1 — one teacher’s attention, for every student.

How it works

Like having your own teacher beside you.

In a class of a hundred, the quiet student’s doubt goes unasked. Distance, language and cost decide who learns. Vidyasaarthi sits beside every student.

    Practise

Past JEE, NEET and board questions, with teacher-reviewed solutions.

  3. 03

    Understand your mistake

See the usual wrong step behind your answer, and why it fails.

A few minutes a day. What is still weak comes back.

Try step 03 · pick any answer

A ball is thrown straight up. Ignore air resistance. At the highest point of its flight —

What each answer tells us:

Answer A · a very common slip

  1. The usual wrong step“The ball has stopped, so nothing is acting on it — the acceleration must be zero too.”
  2. Why it failsAcceleration is how fast the velocity is changing, not how big it is. Just before the top the ball moves up; just after, it moves down — so its velocity is still changing, and gravity is still pulling. If the acceleration really became zero, the ball would stay up there.
  3. The idea to re-readVelocity and acceleration are different quantities — Motion in a Straight Line.

Answer B · correct

At the top the velocity is zero for just an instant — but gravity never switches off. The acceleration stays g (about 9.8 m/s²), pointing down, through the whole flight. That is exactly what turns the ball around.

Answer C · mixing up height and speed

  1. The usual wrong step“It is at its highest point, so it must be at its highest speed.”
  2. Why it failsOn the way up, gravity acts against the motion, so the ball keeps slowing down. It reaches the top because its velocity has fallen to zero. Gravity still acts there, so the acceleration is g, not zero.
  3. The idea to re-readv = u − gt for motion against gravity — Motion in a Straight Line.

Answer D · direction of motion vs direction of acceleration

  1. The usual wrong step“The ball was moving up, so its acceleration must point up.”
  2. Why it failsAcceleration need not point along the motion. Gravity pulls down for the whole flight, on the way up too. That downward acceleration is what slows the ball and turns it around.
  3. The idea to re-readThe direction of acceleration vs the direction of velocity — Motion in a Straight Line.

The founder’s message

Talent is everywhere. Guidance should be too.

Dear students and parents,

For more than twenty-five years I have taught physics. In every batch I saw the same truth: talent is everywhere — in big cities and small towns, in English-medium and Hindi-medium schools. What is not everywhere is a good teacher at the moment a student needs one.

Vidyasaarthi is our answer. A saarthi does not fight the battle for you; a saarthi stays beside you and shows the way — following your progress, correcting your mistakes, believing in you.

We begin with Class 11 and 12. Our goal is that every child in India can learn this way — in their own language, at almost no cost.
